A: A little goes a long way. We suggest starting with a pea-size amount, and you can always add more if you need it.

 

Q: Is it safe for pets to ingest the balm?

A: Our CBD Pet Care Balm is not intended to be ingested, but we know sometimes our pets lick their skin or coat, especially after applying an ointment. So if your pet does lick the area, it’s ok. Our products are always completely organic and this product is free of essential oils. 

 

Q: Why would I use a balm instead of the CBD Pet Care Tincture?

A: The balm is just the right consistency to to rub on their paws, nose, skin or coat and have it actually stick! Our pet balm is also made with nourishing botanicals that are a natural compliment to CBD for a topical application.

At Moon Mother, our third-party lab analyzes the amount of cannabinoids and screens for microbial contamination. We also run a full 5-panel lab analysis on the hemp extract we use, as required by Colorado regulation. 

 

Our only natural pet hemp balm is made with USDA organic full spectrum hemp extract to nourish dry paws and support healthy skin. This 2 fl oz jar contains 300 mg of CBD, and it uses the natural power of hemp to condition your pet’s skin and coat. It keeps noses, paws and elbows soft and helps keep skin around cuts, scratches, or rough patches moisturized.

Along with the power of hemp, our CBD pet balm contains an all-natural mixture of ingredients to nourish and moisturize your pet’s skin. This includes olive oil and beeswax for hydration, comfrey for skin support, and calendula, which has been used for ages as a supportive herb.

Apply the CBD pet balm directly to the paws, nose, skin, or coat. This can be the paws’ pads, skin or nose.  Store the product in a cool, dry place. We suggest starting with a pea-sized amount. You can always apply more.
