Moon Mother Hemp is founded on the importance of working in harmony with the environment. Our motto from “seed to sale” says it all.  All of our practices, from our choices on the farm, to our products, packaging and philanthropic commitments are designed to benefit the Earth, which is why we joined 1% for the Planet, a global organization that allows us to commit to giving back 1% of our annual profit to the environment. 

Through this partnership, we have chosen to be matched with Earth Guardians: Their mission is to focus on the youth of the world, and teaching them to create change through social, climate, and environmental justice.

Inclusion and Diversity

Earth Guardians is proactively inclusive and diverse, uniting people of all backgrounds in their passion for the environment and making a difference. Their Indigenous Youth Committee is dedicated to educating, training, and organizing action focused on cultural resilience, environmental justice, and decolonization. Here at Moon Mother Hemp we consciously support inclusion and diversity as well which made our choice of Earth Guardians a natural fit.

Youth Empowerment

Empowering youth and letting their voices be heard is crucial for a healthy future. This intergenerational organization combines educational resources with funding to allow their guardians to operate environmental activist movements and projects with autonomy. 

Global Impact

Earth Guardians is global in scope with participants in more than 61 countries and 6 continents. Their impact can be seen across the map from tree planting in Africa, socio-environmental news podcasts in Brazil, educational training for indigenous youth across North America, and legal action and initiatives in the name of the climate crisis taken on behalf of youth in all 50 states in the US, and more. 

Local Partnership

Though Earth Guardians is a worldwide organization, they are rooted in Boulder, Colorado, just like us. This allows Moon Mother Hemp to have a “real-time” relationship and close connection to this important partner organization. Moon Mother Hemp has an exciting future volunteering with Earth Guardians from handmade educational programs to feet-on-the-ground projects.
