Tested by an independent lab, for your peace of mind.
We care deeply about what goes into every bottle and jar we make, and we believe you should be able to see it for yourself. An independent, accredited lab tests our hemp extract and our finished products, and we share the results right here.

Certificates of Analysis for our hemp extract
These are the batches of hemp extract we’re making our products with right now. Each report shows the full results from the lab, and we’ll post a new one here whenever we begin a new batch.

Our hemp extract
A closer look at every batch
Colorado law requires hemp extract to be tested for potency, heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins and microbes. The reports for our extract include a residual solvent screen as well.
Potency
Measures CBD and more than a dozen other cannabinoids, including THC, so the amounts on our labels reflect what’s in the bottle.
Heavy metals
Hemp readily draws up what’s in the soil it grows in. Every batch is screened for arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.
Pesticides
Screened against a panel of more than 40 pesticides, so you know nothing was sprayed where it shouldn’t have been.
Mycotoxins
Checks for toxins made by certain molds, including aflatoxins and ochratoxin A.
Microbes
Tests for harmful bacteria such as E. coli (STEC) and salmonella, plus total yeast and mold, aerobic bacteria and coliforms.
Residual solvents
Confirms that no leftover solvents, such as butane, hexane or ethanol, remain in the extract.
Our process
Tested twice, from extract to finished product
-
01
Our hemp extract is tested
Every batch of hemp extract we use is tested by a third-party lab for potency, heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins and microbes, as required by Colorado law.
-
02
Our finished products are tested
Once our products are made, a third-party lab tests them again: potency and microbes for everything you ingest, and potency for all of our other products.
-
03
We share the results
We post the Certificates of Analysis for the extract batches we’re using right now, so you can see exactly what the lab found.

New to lab reports?
A Certificate of Analysis can look technical at first. Here’s a quick guide to the terms you’ll see on ours.
- Batch or lot number
- Identifies the exact batch of extract the lab tested.
- ND
- None detected. The lab found none of that compound within the range its method can measure.
- LOD and LOQ
- Limit of detection and limit of quantitation: the smallest amounts the lab can detect and accurately measure.
- Result (%) and (mg/g)
- How much of each cannabinoid is in the extract, by weight.
- Total potential THC or CBD
- Includes the acid forms (THCA and CBDA) that convert to THC and CBD when heated.
- Matrix
- The type of sample that was tested, such as a concentrate.
