Q: What Is the Correct Tincture Strength and Dosage For Me?

A: Although we can not diagnose or prescribe, we can tell you about common dosing and what is typically working for our customers.

Your ideal serving size depends on many factors including your size, weight, and other physiological considerations as well as the desired nutritional or other goals you are trying to achieve. Many people begin with a serving of 10 mg taken orally (swallowed or placed under the tongue for 60 seconds), one to three times a day. The serving size and frequency can be gradually increased or decreased, as desired, to achieve your goals. A common adult dose can range between 10-50 mg of extracted hemp oil per day.

Q: Can I Get High From Moon Mother Hemp CBD Tinctures?

A: No. The terpenes, flavonoids and other phytocompounds extracted from hemp plants do not contain the compound THC in sufficient quantities required to produce a high. The active phytonutrients and other compounds in hemp oil extracts provide many of the health and wellness benefits of the cannabis plant without the psychotropic effect (the high), allowing you to consume these products while maintaining a clear mind.

Q: How do I decide which strength CBD Tincture is right for me?

A: If you are new to CBD starting with one of the lower MG strengths like our 500 MG and 1000 MG strengths is the right way to go. When you are learning about dosage and what is right for your body it is best to start low and go slow. If you are a seasoned CBD user and know that you will be dosing frequently, it makes more financial sense to purchase our higher strength tinctures and adjust the dose accordingly as the higher strength the lower the cost is per MG of CBD. 

Q: Can I fail a drug test from using these products?

A: It is absolutely possible to fail a drug test when you are consuming Full Spectrum Hemp Extract. All of our products contain trace amounts of THC that can build up in your system over time and cause a failed drug test.

A: No, CBD is not a sedative. When using the Dream Balm, CBD activates the endocannabinoid system, bringing balance to the body to help with a restful night’s sleep.

A:¼ teaspoon contains 15 mg of CBD

Q: How much do you use?

A: We recommend using the massage oil as spot treatment for specific areas you’d like to target for tension but it is safe for full body application.

Q: How much CBD in 1 pump of massage oil?

A: One pump is about 1 mL. The 2 oz bottle contains 60 pumps which equals approximately 8 mg per pump. 

Q: Is this OK for sensitive skin?

A: Our massage oil is herbalist formulated with regard to skin sensitivities containing only 3 ingredients, all certified organic. We do however recommend testing a small patch of skin on the arm if you have sensitive skin or allergies.

Q: How quickly do you notice an effect?

A: You’ll typically notice the full effect within 15 to 20 minutes.
