This is one of the many reasons why Earth Guardians was an obvious choice to partner with through 1% for the Planet. 

Earth Guardians is an inclusive and diverse organization made up of empowered youth from all over the world dedicated to driving environmental change and social justice. Their incredible members are constantly learning new things and encouraging each other to develop new skills. We at Moon Mother Hemp share this passion for knowledge and understand that the root of creating successful change is education. Since this partnership has been established, we have been able to work together to create exciting plans beginning this Spring! 

Together, Moon Mother Hemp and Earth Guardians will combine forces to host a series of virtual panels about hemp as an eco-solution. When it comes to hemp, many people are unaware of the multiple uses and versatility this plant has in everyday life. Hemp can be used as a sustainable alternative to plastic, cotton, paper, building materials, and more. Additionally, consuming hemp in the form of hemp oil or hemp seeds provides the body with healthy fats and nutrients that are a great addition to any diet or lifestyle. However, the benefits of hemp starts in the soil. Farming hemp can be regenerative to the soil, is less water intensive, and does not require pesticides. 

This virtual series inspired by Moon Mother Hemp and Earth Guardians is designed to shine a light on how hemp provides viable solutions to the current climate crisis. Each panel will be open to the public and bring in industry specialists to cover a unique topic chosen by the youth council of Earth Guardians to educate the local community about everything hemp — history, environmental benefits, daily uses and substitutions, and more!
