We are seeking an experienced Director of Press Relations and Social Media Management Specialist who loves Moon Mother Hemp Company, cannabis and collaborating on social and environmental justice initiatives.
Job Description
Title: Director of PR
$20-25/hr 30+ hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Creating content and strategy across all social media accounts, bi monthly newsletter & blog and managing social engagement
- Affiliate and Brand Ambassador management and promotion
- Management of philanthropic, volunteer and activism initiatives in the social and environmental justice sectors.
- Liaising with press and influencers and writing press releases
- Complete and report KPIs weekly
- Report on KPIs and provide feedback in quarterly team meetings.
- Work in a collaborative space with other departments on initiatives and campaigns.
Must Have:
- 2-3 years experience running successful social media accounts
- Experience with IG, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, GSuite, Canva & affiliate marketing platforms
- At least 2 years of Press Relations Experience
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in time management as well as being focused and organized
